If you've been reading my posts on the EE board for the last 27 years you know that I tend to focus on the ridiculous, but you do what interests you.
My first post= Indiana Republican candidate Mike Braun's maff skills
In Indiana we have a constitutional amendment that caps property taxes at 1%. Some locations, such as where I live have annual referendums to pay more for things like school funding.
Mr. Braun wants to provide us with tax relief from the burden of paying 1%. He proposes changing the cap to 2% and 3% for senior citizens.
He claims that this will provide up to 21% in relief.
