The football board had the very useful Daily Trump Tracker thread, which was a good place to briefly discuss the latest ridiculous thing that might have ended 97% of prior Presidential administrations even if it didn't necessarily justify an entire thread devoted to it in 2017-2019 (because of the sheer volume of these things). Since I don't see anything like that here already, I'll add one myself.

He will see nothing wrong with it.

because because because because ....because of the wonderful things he does.

edit- he over in the Caucus thread. lets see if he stops by here to comment. :)
    Somebody got a crush.

Anyway . . . let's check on the impeachment results . . . highest approval rating ever? Really? Amazing.

President Donald Trump’s approval rating has hit the highest level of his presidency — 49% — in a Gallup poll.

Trump was boosted by increased approval among independent as well as Republican voters, according to the survey released Tuesday. The poll of 1,033 adults was conducted from Jan. 16 to 29, during Trump’s impeachment trial in the Senate.

Trump’s approval rating among his fellow GOP voters now stands at 94% percent, 6 points higher than registered by the last Gallup poll.

And 42% of independents approve of the job he is doing, up 3 points.

Trump’s approval by Democrats fell to 7% — 3 points lower than a prior survey.

    Hi Dads-

that Gallup poll shows he got a big bump Republicans, up 6% to a whopping 94% approval, but other than that, he saw a net zero gain from previous polls from the other demos.

in other words, the wagons have circled even more.

and what do you think of the “president” acting like that during the NA?

Pleasure Talking with you as always

For real. It's not us but him that didn't know there's a KC in both states.

Trump congratulates the country of England when the Patriots win the Super Bowl. And says something stupid about how it’s such a great achievement since they have to fly across the ocean for every game.

    Hi CoolBrees,

I honestly didn't think his poll numbers from the liberal segment could go lower, but a -3 %? How close to ZERO can you go? It's like a Hermes limbo dance on Futurama.

Clearly, when it comes to the NA, he's a "Do as I I do." sort. Yeeeesh. I disapprove.

    Great talking with you.

    Hi, Dads.

I am pretty sure I get what you're saying, but he's definitely not a "Do as I do," kind of guy. He's definitely a "Do as I say," person since doing what he does would get most people locked up or incur his very own wrath on twitter for being un-American.

Great chatting with you, as always.

Hello boys... for some reason my ears were burning... how y'all been?

Has there been any developments that we want to discuss...

Trump's actions at a private Superbowl party that was secretly videoed... was that it....

I do wish old Trump had acted a little more profession. Yes I do. Maybe even a tad bit of disappointment from me.

But if you want to compare this to Kaepernick protesting the police on the sidelines where thousands paid for tickets and Kaepernivck WAS in the presence of the flag on his employers time, please feel free to say so and we can start a new thread.

does that kinda "lessen" the situation for you? Hence the "tad bit of disappointment" and takes "hypocrisy" off the table, right?

Good to know that JoeOKC, the Murican patriot, should we ever be at a sporting event together, will have no issue with me standing next to him, waving my arms as if im conducting the music, pointing out to people and chatting it up, only to look for my seat well before the end of the Anthem.

So long as your left hand is over your heart.

I think Independents are looking at Sanders, and have started to feel really uncomfortable about him. IMHO.

Yes, I left out the word NOT along the way,!

    Nice catch!

    Always a pleasure, I.J.

I think you are right, but I don't think it is just Independents. The Democratic party is getting a little worried too.

So you’re saying if the video had been of Kaepernick doing the exact same thing at a private party, you would be just a tad bit disappointed, and question the motives of the person who recorded it?

I tagged you because I really was expecting that you would take this opportunity to show some consistency.

You know that you would be melting down if this was Kaepernick. It’s insulting that you’d think lying about it would fool any of us.

Like I said, we can start a new thread... but yeah, if you dance around and don't salute the flag, well we'll still be friends and I'll call you an arse just as Trump was. But we'll still be friends and watch the game together.

If you sit in your chair during the anthem in protest of the cops I'll be unhappy and call you an butt crevasse, but will still agree that you have the right to do so because you bought the ticket with your money and it was your own time...

But once the team hires you.... totally different.
