It looks like the first shoe has dropped with the Durham investigation with the Clinesmith plea deal. Clinesmith wasn't a low level FBI employee involved in the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

He worked with Strzok to arrange sending an FBI agent into Trump-Flynn briefing, was on the Mueller team, he took part in the Papadopoulos interviews, and he participated in the FISA process.

    From the NYT article:

I wonder who else knew about the lies?

I know you love the spin from the Democrat friendly NYT and Washington Post, but when they actually acknowledge something bad for the Democrats they will do their best to put the positive spin for Democrats.

Hillary is in the process of being exposed as creating the Russiagate BS which was laundered through Democratic friendly lawyers hoping that the attorney client privilege would hide their corrupt and illegal actions.

Trump is still running around praising Putin as he commits genocide.

We've got people here still claiming that Trump isn't beholden to Putin.

    It's not complicated.

    PATHETIC

Imagine still harping on Russiagate given global current events.

It's important to me to know what occurred between the FBI and Clinton campaign regarding the Russia shirt and as best as I can tell to this point we know it seems clear that Sussman (purposely) misrepresented the fact that he was working for the Clinton campaign when he brought the Alfa Bank pinging "white papers" to his FBI friend James Baker (it's not particularly clear to me right now if Sussman and Joffe, the IT guy tied to this, believed there was actually something to the pings or if they were only really attempting to place Trump/Russia shirt in front of the FBI as a means to having it cited through the media that the FBI was investigating - I certainly lean towards the latter there).

I can be corrected if wrong, but I don't see that Durham is yet finding or accusing the FBI of generalized corruption in their handling of the Trump/Russia stuff which is good in the sense that this story is much, much worse in the event that that is found in conjunction with the Clinton campaign ties here.. but I am interested to see if there are any further ties to the Clinton campaign and the FBI here and where it all goes from there.

According to Sussman’s defense, he was not working with the Clinton campaign at all at that time, and only discussed this with Joffe. Joffe says he has exculpatory evidence that would exonerate Sussman, but because he feels threatened with indictment by Durham, he won’t testify unless he gets immunity.

Durham hasn’t found any proof of what he is supposed to be looking for, but that hasn’t stopped him from using his court filings to speculate on his “theories” of Clinton involvement. From what I understand, it’s pretty unusual for Durham to put all this stuff in his court filings that are unrelated to the actual cases. He’s been at it for a really long time with next to nothing to show for it.

I think we’re reaching Benghazi territory here with Durham.

I think you're right, this is a big blow hole of absolutely nothing.

    giraffes

    Well they look like giraffes.

If folks looking like that show up in your town, you'll say giraffes showed up.

I don't know they might be nice giraffes. This European visiting pair look like they'd be nice giraffes.

    But they are giraffes.

I have to ask, with zero expectation of a good faith answer...

When you say "Russiagate BS" are you implying that the allegation that the Trump campaing was conspiring with Russia to aid Trump's election effort was completely made up by the Clinton Campaign?

If so, how does that align with the fact that members of Trump's inner circle and campaign met with who they thought was a lawyer for the Russian government offering dirt on Hillary, and during the meeting discussed reducing sanctions on Russia?

If not, what do you mean by "Russiagate BS"?

Yeah, a certain segment has decided to ignore the Mueller results. Trumpco failed to satisfy the conditions of criminal collusion because they weren't organized enough for the coordination required, but they damn sure didn't report the help Russia was giving like they were supposed to do. In a weird way, being utterly selfish saved his arse.
Not to mention the exceedingly strong evidence for obstruction, which would have been prosecuted if Trump hadn't won. And which, because they have all the tactical brains of a doodlebug, the Dems didn't add to either of the impeachment charges.

Yes that's correct. I'm specifically referring to the Trump Russia collusion narrative. Durham has claimed it was created by Hillary's team and disseminated to the media, FBI, CIA, OIG through attorneys to try to use attorneys client privilege as cover for their illegal activities. I'm not saying Russia didn't interfere with our election although their actions were greatly exaggerated.

Natalia Veselnitskaya was the Russia lawyer at the Trump Towe meeting. She was also a client of Fusion GPS who helped assemble the Steele Dossier. Veselnitskaya also met with GPS Fusion before and after the Trump Tower meeting.

A witness told Mueller that Veselnitskaya loved Hillary Clinton:

Trump created "the Russiagate BS" by peddling dictator Putin day and night.

    End of story.

Durham claims a lot of things, but cannot prove any of them. 🤷‍♀️

The Magnitsky Act was definitely discussed. From wiki:

“Trump Jr. initially told reporters that the meeting had been "primarily about adoptions".[2][41] He then released a statement saying it had been a "short introductory meeting" concerning "a program about the adoption of Russian children".[42] A few days later Trump Jr. acknowledged that he went into the meeting expecting to receive opposition research from Veselnitskaya that could hurt Clinton's campaign, adding that none was presented and that the conversation instead focused on the Magnitsky Act.[23][43][44] Later a statement from Trump Jr.'s lawyer said Veselnitskaya had claimed to have information "that individuals connected to Russia were funding the Democratic National Committee and supporting Mrs. Clinton" but "it quickly became clear that she had no meaningful information".[45] Trump Jr. said he felt the adoption issue was her "true agenda all along" and the claims of helpful political information were a pretext.[46] After learning that the New York Times was about to publish the series of emails setting up the meeting, Trump Jr. himself published the email chain via Twitter, and explained that he considered the meeting to be "political opposition research".[19][47] He summarized the meeting as "such a nothing... a wasted 20 minutes".[48]

Veselnitskaya said that she intended to provide allegations to the Trump campaign about a firm connected to William Browder, a financier who lobbied for the Magnitsky Act. She said that the firm committed tax evasion in Russia and donated to Democrats.[49] She said in an interview, "I never had any damaging or sensitive information about Hillary Clinton. It was never my intention to have that."[50] She initially denied the allegation that she was or is connected to the Russian government. At a later date she disclosed that she was in regular contact with the Russian Prosecutor General's office and with Prosecutor General Yury Chaika, about sharing information she acquired in her investigation relating to the Magnitsky Act.[49][50][51]

On July 14, Akhmetshin stated in an interview that Veselnitskaya had claimed to have evidence of "violations of Russian law by a Democratic donor", and added that she "described her findings at the meeting and left a document about them with Trump Jr. and the others."[33][52]

What we know is that Jr was tricked into having the meeting by promises of “dirt” on Clinton from the Russian government. He should have immediately contacted the FBI when the lawyer was described to him as being part of Russian government. But he didn’t do what he was required to do, and instead took the meeting, saying “I love it”. This is clearly corrupt.

How on Earth can you claim that Durham can't prove any of them when they haven't even gone to trial yet?

I thought by sanctions he was referring to something else. I'm aware they discussed the Magnitsky Act.

What's ironic is that the people Hillary hired to dig up dirt on Trump conspired with Russian Igor Danchenko for the BS for the Steele Dossier. Long time Clinton ally Charles Dolan also supplied BS for the Steele Dossier.

Sussman, Joffe, & Marc Elias spent weeks coordinating their efforts with the Clinton Campaign deciding how to use this information to 'demonstrate' secret communications between Trump & the Russians.
    20220410_173459.png

Sussman billed his time on the project to the Clinton Campaign. Including billing them for a meeting with Fusion GPS to coordinate it's usage in opposition research materials.
Steele met with Sussman on this day, in the same or a different meeting.
    20220410_173608.png

Sussman continued to bill the Clinton Campaign for their oppo research efforts on the Alfa Bank story.
    20220410_173909.png

Sussman met with Elias, Fusion GPS, experts & reporters regarding the false white paper. And billed it to Hillary Clinton's campaign.
