There're not the same. The lynching bill is that it's a federal hate crime. Murder is a separate charge and both can be applied.

It adds an extra 30 years on top of the sentence for the murder.

As long as they give the Peice of work 30 more volts, I can get behind it.

Complete waste of time by our elected leaders. They are low haning fruit idiots. They are tackling the horrors of Daylight savings time in record time, but won't even discuss the real issues.

Take that Steve Danes, a senator from Montana, he's more like a rotund fire plug, less like Great Dane, certainly associated things through the connection of an occasional golden stream but... . I read about him this morning, he's touring around in Poland because that's a close to Ukraine as he dares to go.

What do you consider to be the "real issues?" If it's critical race theory and talk of sexuality in kindergarten then I'd argue you are just as bad as those on the left that obsess over woke issues. People like DeSantis, who you seem to admire, are just part of the problem.

A long story short, my cousin (who has 2 mixed childern) while in her late 30's went back to school, she made friemds with this girl in her class who was in her mid 20's, they became study partners. one day they were meeting at the other girls house. My cousin asked if she could brng her daughter, she could watch TV while they studied, no problem. My cousin was unloading all her books from her booksack when she got a text message. before she could finish takng all of her books out, the girl come running in there saying, I'm sorry, i didn't mean to send that text to you, i meant to send it to my boyfriend. She looks at the text and it says " I didn't know Sarah was a N lover!" (but didn't use the letter, but the whole word) The girl was like Im sorry, i'm not really a racist, its just the way i was raised. she looked at her and said you are a grown azz woman, not a child. she packed her stuff up, got her daughter and left. needless to say, they never spoke to each other again. My cousin said that girl is lucky this wasn't 10 years ago because she would have stomped her butt into a mudhole..
People don't just wake up one morning and be like, i think i'm gonna start being racist.. they are usually taugh it at a young age and it just sticks with them. a real adult can learn how change and not be that way and not blame it on mommy and daddy,,,

John Jay College of Criminal Justice student Mya Bishop created the change.org petition, writing that the opera, penned by Clare Coss, centers a fictional "white school teacher named Roanne Taylor" and her "white guilt" rather than the torture and murder of Emmett Till, who was lynched by two white men for allegedly flirting with a white woman when he was only 14 years old.

The petition reads, "Clare Coss has creatively centered her white guilt by using this show to make the racially motivated brutal torture and murder of a 14-year-old child about her white self and her white feelings."...........
