This election nonsense by Trump may end up splitting up the Republican Party. I just don’t see how the one third (?) who are principled conservatives can stay in the same party with Trump sycophants who are willing to sign onto the TX Supreme Court case.

We also saw the alt right types chanting “destroy the GOP” in Washington today because they didn’t keep Trump in power. I think the Q types will also hold the same ill will toward the traditional Republican Party. In fact its quite possible that all the voters who are really in a Trump personality cult will also blame the GOP for his loss. It’s only a matter of time IMO before Trump himself gets around to blaming the GOP.

There is some discussion of this on Twitter. What do you all think?

Maybe she didn’t learn that word in her GED prep class she completed two years ago.

maybe not

but it’s probably learned day one in GOP freshman congress member orientation

“now that you’re a republican member of congress with a democrat in the White House the first word you must know is impeach.

That’s I-M-P-E-A-C-H. Learn this word, you’ll be using it weekly”

I’ve never seen any group so consumed by fear as this iteration of the Republican Party. Fear of Trump, fear of their own crazy voters.

The whole thread is worth reading, BTW.

Waking up and reading about this GA rally is really a trip, lol.

I personally thing this is very embarrassing, but something tells me the people that voted for her applaud this kind of stuff

Is calling someone trailer trash an insult if it is so obviously true?

One wonders how NAZISm spread. All it takes is to find a group that is supposedly the reason everything is going wrong in society. Once the group is demonized then the group becomes a unifying force for those that see themselves as oppressed. That is why the Jews were selected in Germany. They were different and successful.

This mechanism can also happen with left wing socialism where those that are economically successful are demonized and become the inspiration for revolution.

You are describing the exact manner in which the GOP incites their base against immigrants, Muslims, the LGBTQ+ community, and Democrats in general.
