The football board had the very useful Daily Trump Tracker thread, which was a good place to briefly discuss the latest ridiculous thing that might have ended 97% of prior Presidential administrations even if it didn't necessarily justify an entire thread devoted to it in 2017-2019 (because of the sheer volume of these things). Since I don't see anything like that here already, I'll add one myself.

I think he’s a terrible speaker, and would not want to be around him. He’s petulant, tweets way too much, thin skinned etc. However, I do like many of his actions, policies.

As I’ve been chastised before for saying this tho, I believe he’s by far the lesser of the evils. In general I’m no fan of any high level politician. Another term I’ve used that has been mocked is elites. Which I believe they all are, and don’t really care about the common man.

I detest Hillary for a plethora of reasons, Biden has dementia imo and is a puppet to China, I also think he’s a pervert, and I don’t believe in socialism...so Bernie would have been out for me too, therefore I’m left with the Donald.

The raw dogging a porn star does nothing to move the needle for me. I do think Trump is a perv, just not as bad a perv as Joe, which I also think Joe has full blown dementia. So I could not in good faith vote for Joe. I think all of them are crooked, but it’s always the lesser of evils for me.

So, you say "Biden has dementia IMO." Can you give us examples of this. And, if these examples are slips of the tongue, or verbal gaffes...I'll gladly show you some video of the guy you are supporting, which is at least equal evidence of dementia.

The request is for you to point to something specific that you think indicates he has dementia. The challenge is for you, as someone repeatedly stating their intention to support Trump in the next election, to be able to do that without everyone being able to immediately point to more egregious examples of Trump along the same lines. But if you can do that, then we have something to discuss.

However, if you can't do that, then to be honest with yourself you should really be thinking about the fact that you can't and reconsidering your position.

Your alternative is to just keep repeating that you think it regardless and that everyone is entitled to their opinion. Sure. But that's largely pointless as far as contributing to a discussion goes. It will also, inevitably, lead to replies addressing you personally because you've made yourself the source of the point of discussion.

For example, if someone were to be discussing Trump, and said, "I think Trump has dementia because as you can see here - (link to Trump thinking out loud about whether injecting disinfectant is a good idea) - he's struggling with his thought processes, seems to have forgotten basic concepts like 'injecting disinfectant is bad', and is clearly just rambling incoherently," then they would have made the link the source of the point of discussion.

Whereas someone saying, "I think Trump has dementia because that's my opinion," would be making themselves the source. There isn't any objective point provided when you do that. It's just your opinion. And that's what people are inevitably going to address.
