Biden has lost support from many people who voted for him in the past.
He is getting up there in age.
Here are a couple of sites I'd like to share...

WHAT DO ANY OF YOU THINK?
IS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY BEST SERVED BY HAVING PRESIDENT BIDEN RUN FOR ANOTHER TERM OR WOULD A DIFFERENT CANDIDATE BE BETTER?

If for any reason Biden doesn't run, Whitmer is someone who should receive strong consideration.
I wouldnt mind seeing Mark Kelly run…but he doesn’t have a lot of political experience or clout yet.

None of that matters. Having never seen him speak, can he work a crowd? Is he innately charismatic? If so, he's got a great chance.
The Presidency has nothing to do with experience or competence. It's a popularity contest.

From what I've seen, which is limited, maybe slightly more charisma than Kamala Harris. So that might be an issue.

I think PBS is widely recognized as leaning left.
Just below this sentence is a PBS article that might be of interest to some people...

I don’t know when “who would you want to have a beer with” became one of the top criteria in picking a president

The Trump/DeSantis battle is a gift-wrapped present to the Democrats who will squander it if Biden is the nominee. In a word: no. Biden shouldn't be the nominee. But I'm not sure who the Democrats could nominate that has a decent amount of charisma. IMO, they should seriously consider telling Jon Tester not to bother seeking reelection in Montana (as he'll almost certainly lose) and run for President instead.

Mark Kelly would also be a good choice without having to cede (although its probably unwinnable anyway) the Montana Senate seat.

Abysmal Biden poll raise new Red Flags that Democrats themselves are very concerned about...

Nice attempt to deflect from the garbage heap your party has become.....this is akin to being upset/concerned about who is CFB's top 5 in week 2.....

If Faux News told me the sky is blue, I wouldn't believe them.

That said, Biden won by over seven million votes last time around. Trump's base may vote religiously, but their numbers haven't grown since then.

If he's not in jail, Cheato Jesus will get curbstomped again.

Do I wish either party had a charismatic, qualified candidate under 70? Hell yes, I do. Am I bitterly disappointed that Joe has selected Harris as his running mate again? Also hell yes.

It's the same mistake Obama and Clinton made. You may have to initially choose a running mate who'll help you win, but once you've won and you're gunning for a second term, find someone who can win after you. Groom them and give them some high-profile projects. It takes three terms for a set of policies to become embedded to where it's part of the national psyche.

We're still trying to get over Reagan's supply-side economics even though it's been an unmitigated disaster for the middle class.

Biden's favorability is a bigger concern to me if Trump isn't the Republican nominee, and then it depends on who he is running against, all of which is hard to gauge this far out.

Biden and Trump are both too old to run IMO.

It's going to be sad and hilarious watching the supporters of a 78 year old saying that the 80 year old is too old to be president though.

Trump will be 77 in June and Biden will be 81 in November. The difference in their age is roughly a presidential term. Both would be in their 80s at the end of another term, but Biden would be 86 and I admit that's really stretching it. I agree that both are close enough in age that it isn't the point some want to make it, and Trump doesn't appear to hold any discernible health advantages (what we know about his diet certainly isn't a positive for him).

I'll vote for Biden over anybody the Republican's run, but this is undoubtedly shaping up to be a concerning election.

Biden is down in one poll and up in three. Run for the hills. The apocalypse cometh...

I wouldn't have expected Biden to poll well at this point anyway. He wasn't a very popular candidate going into 2020 with a lot of momentum and enthusiasm, he was the means of defeating Trump(ism).

I am counting on people being a lot more motivated by the damage being done by the judiciary and the threats being posed by Republican's embrace of extremism to show up to vote, enough that I'm not sure that conventional wisdom about elections is all that reliable. People don't need to like Biden to recognize what is hanging in the balance, the way negatives affected Hillary Clinton.
