I ran across a TEDx video by a writer named Blair Imani who claims to be an historian, and professes to be Muslim and queer. Then I looked it up, and found some other videos of talks of Muslims who identify as queer. As per lgbtqnation, the most accurate definition of queer is “a person whose sexual orientation or gender identity falls outside the heterosexual mainstream or the gender binary” , and acknowledge that "as such, all lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people fit this queer definition because their sexual orientation and/or gender identity falls outside of different-sex attraction and the traditional male-female binary."

Or, in Islamic words, haram, punishable by death. Which is the same punishment in the Old Testament. Which the New Testament doesn't correct, and still calls homosexuality and abomination (no matter how much apologists want to cry "mistranslated!") punishable in the eternal pit of fire.

So why worship a god who decrees you to be an abomination, and who will punish you for the way he allegedly created you?

I’ve wondered the same - I know some Christian sects are softening up, but it‘s difficult for me to reconcile those positions in my head. I guess if religion gives you comfort, then religion gives you comfort.

If you look at Christianity from the New Testament only, I think an LGBT person could have no problem worshipping that God. Love thy neighbor, don't judge. I think those two cores are what they look to with their faith. The Old Testament is full of silly things such as not wearing clothes woven of two fabrics (Leviticus). I think they just put the anti-LGBT stuff in the Old Testament along with the two woven fabrics nonsense. Ignore it and stick with the core.

Yes, Christians conveniently forget much of the the Old Testament and ignore Matthew 5:17, but regardless, even if humans don't judge, God does, and homosexuality is still an aberration in both Old and New Testament that lands you in hell.

I agree, but in my experience, this is their justification. They don’t think being gay will send them to hell. Just like other Christians don’t think that their attachment to material things will land them in hell (easier to fit camel through eye of needle type thing), or that adultery, divorce, oral sex, etc. are also sins in the Bible. Basically, the Bible doesn’t mean “my” sin is bad. It is the other guys that will burn.

the Lord's response to LGBT Community

We read in Psalms 127:3 Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward.

Lev 18:22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.

Lev 18:22 (NLT) “Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman.
    It is a detestable sin.

We read in Matt 19:4-6 And He answered and said to them, "Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning 'made them male and female,' and said, 'For this reason, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh?
So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate."

    And?

And In the beginning, God created heaven and the earth.

And the earth was without form and void; darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first days.

And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

And God called the dry land Earth; the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

And the evening and the morning were the third day.

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

And God created great whales and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and everything that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you, it shall be for meat.

And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
    Gen 1:1-31 (KJV)

And I Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O LORD, and that the foolish people have blasphemed thy name. O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of thy poor forever. Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty. O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise thy name. Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily. Forget not the voice of thine enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against thee increaseth continually.

    Psalms 74:18-23

If I want to read the Bible then I will do so. Simply copying words means nothing.

Is the Bible the inerrant words of God? Is the KJV an accurate translation of ancient Hebrew?

you know YOU, do not have responded, but the word does exactly what it was created for, that everything has an end

it exposed your conscience to the person you really are
In the end, you will say this
Revelation 6:15-17 (NKJV) And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave, and every free man, hid in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!
For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?"

by me quoting the word, gives transparent, I only respond with kindness, but if you become negative, then I quote the word to you negative, remarks, and what I phrase it to teach what men lack

Thank you for the deflection and for the irrelevant wandering in the weeds about the UN.

Now, how about answering the question?

be pacific, because your character is obvious, and remember the truth will set you

the word inerrant, meaning you can disagree to agree

(no matter how much apologists want to cry "mistranslated!") punishable in the eternal pit of fire.

Why is it called the haram?
haram. Faiyad: Haram means "sacred precinct" and denotes a protected zone or a holy place of worship. It comes from the same Arabic root of the word “forbidden”, showing that al-haram is a place where certain actions and behaviors are not allowed.

Haram means you can say? “forbidden” fruits
The religious term haram, based on the Quran, is applied to Actions, such as cursing, fornication, murder, and disrespecting your parent
An Arabic term meaning forbidden or unlawful. In the case of Islamic finance, Muslims cannot invest in, acquire, or otherwise engage in transactions that involve forbidden products and activities such as pork-related products, alcohol, gambling, and pornography. The opposite of haram is halal.
    What is punishable Zina?
26 Thus, the punishment for Zina according to the Qur'an (chapter 24) is 100 hundred lashes for the unmarried male and female who commit fornication, together with the punishment prescribed by the Sunnah for the married male and female, i.e., stoning to death.

What was mistranslated in the Bible?
The most famous example of how a theological agenda can distort a translation is the verse in Isaiah (7:14), “And behold a virgin shall conceive and give birth to a son …” This mistranslation provides a clear prediction of the virgin birth in the Hebrew Bible and is thus a powerful truth for Christians that Jesus'
