This organisation and its reach is seriously scary. When the head of the New York Police Department's second-largest police union openly shows his support of this "organisation" then something is seriously wrong!

The head of the New York Police Department's second-largest police union gave a television interview Friday afternoon while sitting in front of a mug emblazoned with QAnon imagery and slogans.

The mug behind Mullins featured the word "QANON" and the hashtag #WWG1WGA, which stands for "where we go one, we go all," a popular slogan among QAnon supporters. At the center of the mug was a large letter Q, which refers to a supposed government insider who, according to QAnon supporters, posts cryptic clues on the Internet about the "deep state."

More than a year ago, the FBI reportedly assessed that QAnon was a dangerous movement that was likely to inspire its most extreme members to commit violent acts of domestic terrorism.

In recent weeks, QAnon supporters have been posting videos of themselves reciting an oath and repeating the "where we go one, we go all" catchphrase that is seen on the mug. They say they are preparing "digital soldiers" for an apocalyptic reckoning, when thousands of "deep state" pedophiles will be arrested and prosecuted at military courts at Guantanamo Bay.

Vox isn’t the greatest source, but...

I saw a clip of an interview where Barr says that the greatest election interference threat is China, and when asked why he thinks that, he says it’s because he has seen the intelligence. So, he was lying, since now that we see that same intelligence, it is clear that Russia and Iran did interfere, with Russia being the far greater threat of the two, and China did not interfere. He was not the only Administration official to repeat that lie.

The Russian disinformation examples given by SBTB (thanks) involve the 2016 campaign. The idea that Ukraine was the one who hacked the DNC instead of Russia was the disinformation being pushed by Republicans then. Fiona Hill testified that members of Congress were repeating Russian propaganda during the first impeachment trial.

They did it again in the 2020 election. Republicans pushed ideas that Joe Biden was corrupt in his actions with Ukraine. They repeated allegations that were fed to them by people associated with Russian intelligence. It was pushed by Ron Johnson and various others and amplified by parts of the conservative press and parts of the anti-anti-Trump press. This is from the intelligence report that was just released.

It’s a very serious problem, IMO, that we have a large part of the Republican Party and a large part of conservative media who are actually helping Russia with its disinformation. Russia is trying to destabilize our country and we don’t need to elect people who help them. We don’t need to watch media who want to help them either, and Fox News and OAN are contributing to their efforts.

This leaves us with two options.

Republicans are stupid, or they’re complicit.

Barr was obviously talking about the intelligence about China before the election. Was he supposed to predict who would interfere in future? It's well known how China tries to steal our classified information, steal US companies intellectual property, infiltrate our government(Eric Swalwell & Diane Feinstein) etc. Why would it be a surprise that he predicted China would be the biggest threat based off of those things?

The same intelligence people that told us the Hunter Biden laptop story was Russian disinformation(that turned out to be a lie) are still believed to be telling the truth? How many things can be blamed on Russia that later turn out to not be true before people figure it out?

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) has released a much-hyped, much-cited new report on “Foreign Threats to the 2020 Elections.” The key conclusion:

We assess that Russian President Putin authorized, and a range of Russian government organizations conducted, influence operations aimed at denigrating President Biden’s candidacy and the Democratic Party, supporting former President Trump, [and] undermining public confidence in the electoral process…
The report added Ukrainian legislator Andrey Derkach, described as having “ties” to “Russia’s intelligence services,” and Konstantin Kilimnik, a “Russian influence agent” (whatever that means), used “prominent U.S. persons” and “media conduits” to “launder their narratives” to American audiences. The “narratives” included “misleading or unsubstantiated allegations against President Biden” (note they didn’t use the word “false”). They added a small caveat at the end: “Judgments are not intended to imply that we have proof that shows something to be a fact.”

...The latest report’s chief conclusions are assessments about Derkach and Kilimnik, information that the whole world knew before this report was released. Hell, even Rudy Giuliani, whose meeting with Derkach is supposedly the big scandal here, admitted there was a “50/50 chance” the guy was a Russian spy. Kilimnik meanwhile has now been characterized as having “ties” to Russian intelligence (Mueller), and as a “Russian intelligence officer” (Senate Intelligence Committee), and is now back to being a mere “influence agent.” If he is Russian intelligence, then John McCain’s International Republican Institute (where Kilimnik worked), as well as embassies in Kiev and Moscow (where Kilimnik regularly gave information, according to the New York Times), have a lot of explaining to do.

No matter what, the clear aim of this report is to cast certain stories about Joe or Hunter Biden as misinformation, when the evidence more likely shows that material like the Hunter Biden emails is real, just delivered from a disreputable source.

The constant pearl clutching at the thought of Russia interfering in our election is ironic because what the US does interfering in other countries elections and affairs easily dwarfs Russia's actions. How dare other countries do to us what we do to other countries on a much larger scale. Of course I'm not excusing Russia's interference, but the sky is falling because Russia interfered in our elections is laughable.

I don't know that I agree with all of that, but I do agree we interfere in other countries' elections. Happens all the time. I don't know why we're surprised when other countries do it to us.

That said, we certainly shouldn't just sit back and let them do it either, much less actually support the effort.

The Hunter laptop scandal was part of a Russian disinformation campaign. That doesn’t mean that all of it was false.

Like Hillary’s emails, Hunters laptop scandal wasn’t really as scandalous as it was made out to be.

A lot of what you say just isn’t true or is speculation. Barr wasn’t making a “prediction”. He said it as if it were fact. Quit making excuses for people who care more about their party and one man than this country.

So is the inauguration over? It’s the 20th and I believe that was the next time Trump was going to take office.

    Lauren Boebert:
" I have very good sources to say this is really good information. Is it a hundred percent? I don't know. But it's really good information. ... And this is my opinion with that information that I have, I believe we will see resignations begin to take place. And I think we can take back the majority in the House and the Senate before 2022 when all of this is ended."

Anyone plan on watching HBOs Q documentary series?
    ==================

CNN)"Q: Into the Storm" bears a resemblance to an earlier HBO docuseries, "The Jinx,"unfolding like a mystery, as the filmmaker plays mental chess with his subjects.

What gives this six-part effort particular heft is the role QAnon has come to play in US politics, becoming, as director Cullen Hoback puts it, "part interactive game, part religion, part political movement."

Hoback spent years assembling this story, which, in its most newsworthy aspect seeks to pull back the curtain on the wizard whose cryptic social-media posts have galvanized millions.

Yet the film also finds ample time (indeed, too much) to explore those who have given their lives over to this strange propagator of conspiracy theories, and the problems their seemingly unshakable faith poses for the political class and society at large.

In a reference to "The Matrix," those Q believers speak of being "redpilled" -- that is, having their eyes opened. Despite the painstaking work Hoback has put in seeking to identify a list of suspects and unmask QAnon's architects, it's difficult to see how some of these folks can be deprogrammed, with the director citing the Jan. 6 insurrection at the Capitol as "an inevitable conclusion to an absurd and almost unbelievable story.".......

My head hurt almost instantly into the six-hour experience that is HBO’s new docuseries, “Q: Into the Storm.” Creator Cullen Hobacktackles nothing less than the weaponization of the internet in his six-part series, and he wastes no time throwing out dozens of conspiracy theories, both the broadly familiar ones like Pizzagate and those you probably haven’t heard about like how the battle cry for these people comes from Ridley Scott’s “White Squall” of all places. “It changes the lens through the which you see the world,” says a believer. Uh huh. Another subject describes the entire Q thing as “Part interactive game, part religion, part international movement.” That’s about right.........
