    Ok the rules:
    • Your post can only contain one department and guess.
    • You may post more than once for different departments.
    • Post can contain comments about previous guesses.
    • Guesses for one department can be used for other departments.
    • Minds can, of course, be changed.
I will kick things off first...

This is as clear a choice as there can be. She has all of the credentials and rep to begin healing as relationships with our allies.

eh, I don't know about that. I'm pretty much on the Bernie side of things, and Biden wasn't my first, second or third choice, but he sure as hell will be far and away better than the putrid abomination that we just went through the past 4 years. I hope he does get this country back on track. But of course after all that success the pendulum will probably swing back the other way and a bunch of stupid people will end up voting for another republican president, and in 8-12 years we'll be right back where we were (like how the country was with Bush before Obama). Why does it always seem like a (D) has to come in and clean up the shirtshow a (R) president caused, only for people to "forget" how we got there in the first place, and vote for another (R) right after

Because the DNC couldn't sell fire to Eskimos.

It's not faux corruption. It's real. For all the talk about how defund the police cost the DNP votes. The DNP's lowest point in popularity was under Obama. This administration is largely seen as a continuation of his. I would be very concerned about the policies that will come out of this administration, and the midterms.

Your opinion feels no different then Trump supporters who blindly excuse his horrible behavior because "Trump is sticking it to the Dems."
Biden is simply returning back to the regular system of government corruption. Trump had his own non establishment form of corruption. If Biden's term looks anything like his cabinet and his other appointments, the Republicans will most likey win control of the House and pick up seats in the Senate in 2022.

Because one thing we know is that the GOP voters prefers its own brand of incompetent corruption, mixed with shirtting on the middle class and whole lot of shirtting on the poor.

what corruption? if there are potential conflicts of interest, those can be dealt with. But to label this as “corruption”, without a single official act having been carried out, is just sensational poo, with all due respect.

Biden was known as the senator from MBNA. This is a repeat of the same old third way pro-corporate democrats. Lobbying is a legal bribe, but it's still corruption. There are plenty of those already named to the administration. Maybe you like corporate shills, and lobbyist running the government? I don't. I also don't think it's going to be widely popular in 2022, or 2024. My viewpoint is Biden better find something popular as agenda, because polling showed most people voted against Trump not for him. I don't see that happening with the way this administration is stacking up.

P.S. When Democrats lose in 2022, please don't try and make progressives the scapegoat again.

You would've thought that the progressives would have learned their lesson from 2016, but I guess we might have to do this all over again the way you guys are threatening 2022.

Look progressives may draw big in CA, VT, OR, WA, NY and get you the national popular vote but we all know that popular vote means absolutely dick and those states are already blue and will always be blue.

Problem is that you can't win presidential elections just off of blue states, you need to turn a few swing states as well which is what a moderate can do. My advice for progressives, settle for 75% of what you want now and stop threatening to blow the whole damn thing up just because you don't get 100% of what you want, we're sitting at a 6-3 SC disadvantage partially in thanks to your little temper tantrum in 2016. Call it scapegoating, but....it is what it is, own it and learn your lesson.

Edit:. And "Defund the Police" is a stupid arse slogan

Is it safe to say that you lean towards the "blow up the system" type of governance vs working within it?

    Yup.

His failure of leadership when the world needed it is directly responsible for the world wide spread of the Trump Virus.
Leadership would have contained an airborne pandemic? Lol. Was Trump supposed to go back in time and kill all the bats in China?

Please explain how a politician can stop the spread of an airborne pandemic from reaching the rest of the world especially when it originated in China.

Ok, the election stuff is stupid. 'do you mistrust government' is also a loaded question that would have a high 'positive' response rate.

Secondly, it's pretty hard to find anyone to run these positions that aren't either connected politically or high up in the private sector. They aren't getting Staff Engineers to run these groups, they're getting ex CEO's, executives (president, vp's), i..e connected people who know how to run a business or orginization. You can only get so many politicians to run these groups.

And you're going to hate a democrat from Louisiana who took oil money? The major oil companies and support companies all have a large presence in New Orleans and the rest of Louisiana. That's like someone getting some support from Insurance companies in Iowa, CT, or NYC. Duh... that's where they are.

If a Republican would win in Silicon Valley, they'd get big Tech money. It's not rocket science.
Who said I hated Richmond? Are you upset that Vogel reported it? Are you also saying that the only people they could find to run these agencies are people that could personally profit based on their decisions running those very agencies?

Unfortunately both Democrats and Republicans prefer to run government through corruption.

No I don't think we need to blow up the system of government. We do need to try to limit big business and special interests influence on politicians.

Just because you are fine with looking the other way at the normal corruption in our government doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.

why don’t we wait for some actual corruption to occur? It is pretty telling that you run in here proclaiming all Biden’s cabinet picks are committing corruption before they even take office. You obviously don’t really care about government corruption anyway, judging by your silence on all of Trump’s corruption and your making excuses for him and his family.

Hunter Biden is being investigated, and I feel pretty sure his dad won’t try to interfere. It doesn’t have anything to do government though, because Hunter isn’t part of it.

You should be up in arms about Donald‘s, Kushner‘s and Ivanka’s dirty deals, though, if you really cared about corruption.

    Simple.

Tell people the truth, take immediate actions to mitigate the spread instead of ignoring and lying to the world about the real danger it presents. Yes, the virus may have still spread because of his previous action of killing an Bush/Obama era program designed to surveil that particular region for potential outbreaks, but he had a chance remedy that mistake by taking the lead to slow the spread, it would have saved millions of lives. That would have taken real leadership , but instead we had real stupidity.

Not only that but it would've been nice if we didn't politicize crap like mask wearing, social distancing, and other spread mitigating measures. You don't politicize it, then everyone would've bought in, but nah, we had to go whole hog with the "harmless" COVID lie.
