    Ok the rules:
    • Your post can only contain one department and guess.
    • You may post more than once for different departments.
    • Post can contain comments about previous guesses.
    • Guesses for one department can be used for other departments.
    • Minds can, of course, be changed.
I will kick things off first...

    Secretary of State: Susan Rice

This is as clear a choice as there can be. She has all of the credentials and rep to begin healing as relationships with our allies.

Susan Rice is the easiest choice.

No Senate Dem will be pulled. It’s also going to be tough to pull from the House with the slim margins. Pete and Yang are so good on media that it’s almost a loss to pull them into the administration.

Andrew Yang - Sec of Treasury.

His background is economics and he has business experience. His push for UBI will make him a strong advocate for workers when stimulus packages are needed.

Considering my two decades' experience in higher ed administration, I nominate myself for Sec. of Education. Make it happen.
I worked rice fields, soybean fields, a herd of cattle and other livestock, so I nominate myself for Sec. of Agriculture. Big agra, I'm coming for you.

Just get Bernie, Warren, and Buttigieg in there in some capacity and I’m good.

But even more, his particular UBI should play well with fiscal conservatives (when they become born again to the trad R philosophy)

I wonder if Pete will be on the team. Chief of Staff? I don’t really see a cabinet position that is appropriate. SBA is beneath his skill set. He’s a great communicator - CoS might be a good gig.

They’ve been talking Warren for Treasury but I don’t think Wall Street would take that very well.
That and you really don't want her out of the Senate.

I was thinking Pete as CoS as well, but Biden may want someone, like him, who has a lot of personal relationships and knows DC.

Might be too low for him, but Press Secretary would be pretty interesting. Maybe I just like his burns.

Michael Bennet for Secretary of Education. That’s his background and Polis would appoint a Democrat to replace him.

I’m not too hip on Warren or Sanders, just because they come from states with Republican governors, who would then likely appoint Republicans to replace them.
